All orders placed with United Hardware Sales are subject to the following return policy:
Within 30 days - All orders are subject to 20% restocking fee
90 Day Dead on Arrival (DOA) warranty on all products for full refund or exchange, however all equipment being returned and claimed as DOA (or other technical issues) will be tested upon arrival by our IT Department
Outside of 30 days - All orders Not Returnable! (Unless DOA and then those must be Returned within 90 days of Original Date of Sale)
Returned product(s) must be in the original packaging with all original manufacturer's documents and parts included, with absolutely no damage to the manufactures box, or the returned product(s) may be refused or subject to a higher restocking fee
If you request a return and return is not received by our warehouse within 14 days then your return will be deemed invalid and will not be accepted (unless otherwise determined by our RMA Team)
***All sales on the following products and services are final.*** UHS will not accept the following products as a return: CISCO Licenses, Smart-net Contracts, batteries and products that have had a Smart-net Contract registered.
Know the technical specifications of what you are buying
Understand how the part is used in the application for which the part is purchased
Customer must describe reason for return in detail. It may be necessary to provide photos.
RMA process team may follow up for clarification during investigation process
Items needing testing are subject to a 2 week testing period.
RMA Freight Charges
The customer pays for shipping when returning product.
Customers are responsible for filing claims with freight carriers for damage occurred during shipping.
Invalid or denied returns for product that does not meet the conditions specified in the return authorization will be sent back to the customer at the customer's expense.
RMA Number Expiration and Cutoff Time
RMA numbers are valid for 14 business days from the date of issuance (unless otherwise stated at time of issue).
Any RMA requests submitted after 3pm EST will be processed on the next working business day
UHS engages the customer and the RMA administrator to resolve RMA related problems.
The customer has the responsibility to engage the manufacturer for technical and application issues that may prompt an RMA (e.g. "Part doesn't work in my application.")
UHS refunds customer returns based on the condition of the manufacturer packaging and the specific return reason. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all opened boxes that no longer remain factory-sealed.
